Ammonia water

Ammonia water is an aqueous solution of gaseous ammonia^[1], primarily composed of NH3·H2O, known as ammonium hydroxide. It is colorless, transparent, and has a pungent odor. The density of ammonia water is lower than that of water, and it is unstable, volatile, and prone to decomposition when exposed to light or heat. Ammonia water itself is a non-combustible liquid with no explosion risk. However, the ammonia gas separated from it has a strong, pungent smell and can cause irritation and corrosion to the eyes, nose, and skin of the human body. Additionally, it is flammable.
